The dead rose on a Tuesday. Your house is a wreck, Jess is missing, and even Biscuit the dog ran off. Gus from the neighborhood watch found you hiding in the shed. Time to rebuild. One price, the whole game: no ads, no in-app purchases, no energy to buy. It plays offline, and it never asks for your data. BUILD YOUR SAFE PLACE Clear the junk, mend the picket fence and turn the yard into a home. Plant carrots, tomatoes, potatoes, corn and pumpkins, and cook them on the grill. Keep hens and Daisy the cow, fish the pond, pick apples in the orchard and forage berries and mushrooms in the woods. Raise brick walls, a watchtower, a well, a greenhouse and a garage, and fix up the porch, the kitchen and the bedroom. HOLD THE FENCE When night falls on your phone's clock, the hordes come shambling up the street. Swing a shovel, a nail bat or a chainsaw, or pick them off with a shotgun. Lamps slow them, spike traps hurt them, and your neighbors fight beside you. Every third horde brings a boss, and some nights the moon turns red: more of them, faster, and double the coins if you hold. RESCUE YOUR NEIGHBORS Marge the farmer, Earl the night guard, Doc Ruiz, Sal the mechanic, Penny from the coffee shop and a dozen more are trapped around town and down the road. Dig them out and they move in. Each one has missions, a perk and a story of their own: drop in for a coffee once a day and hear it, a line at a time. BRING THE TOWN BACK Restore the clinic, the gas station, the diner, the pharmacy, the sheriff's office and the Mega Mart. Light the street lamps and reopen the shops. ROAD TRIPS Fix up Mabel, the old car in the garage, and drive out: the Route 9 Truck Stop, the little town of Oakdale, Miller Farm, the Pine Hollow woods, Radio Tower Ridge, and finally Sterling City, with its walk-in shops, the National Guard's last camp and a county fair overrun by clowns. Every place has its own loot, its own zombies and notes left by the people who were there. A LITTLE EVERY DAY The Daily Undead lands on your porch every morning with the news of your night. Check the mailbox, tick off the chores on the fridge, keep your streak going, and tune the radio to WUND 101.3. The big moments go into a scrapbook of Polaroids. In October the street dresses up for Halloween. MAKE IT YOURS Dress your survivor in jackets, hats, sunglasses and bandanas, fill the zombie album, and open mystery crates.
